Since the healthcare union went on strike, hospital staffing agencies were unable to fill open positions in Sterile Processing.
Moab Healthcare Provided
Cook County Health moved all Sterile Processing staffing to Moab Healthcare.Moab has provided over 100 assets over the past three years, leading to improvements in productivity, quality, and stability.
The Results
The hospital was able to resume critical surgical procedures while negotiations were finalized to end the strike.
Moab rapidly deployed nearly 30 SPD and Surgical Technician travelers over Thanksgiving weekend to assist Cook County Health during an emergency.
