In this role, you will need:

• Diploma, certificate or associate degree from an accredited Surgical Technology Program
• 1+ years of experience
• Certification preferred but not required

Impacts on the facility: 

Surgical technicians assist the surgeon during the procedure, have extensive knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation, assist in the safe transfer of patients from the operating table, ensure sterile technique is maintained and counting of the instruments to ensure everything is accounted for.
